WHAT IS ISM?

Independent study and mentorship (ISM) is a course offered at high schools in Frisco ISD that allows students to focus on and study a career of their choice. Students are required to complete an essay and an interview in order to join the class. Through the course, students are given the opportunity to interview and work with a mentor at their workplace in order to gain real work experience in their chosen field of study.
