Weekly Report #16

In ISM this week, I got in touch with my mentor in order to plan our first mentor visit, which I am looking forward to. On our first visit, I hope to review the handbook and go over expectations for each following visit. This week, I also began to think about what I would like to do for my final product, although I am still unsure. I hope to talk with my mentor about my final product assignment in order to come up with ideas of what I could do for my project. In the upcoming weeks, I am also planning to begin working on my original work speech. In my speech, I plan to restate my introduction from previous speeches and talk about my research for the year. After I go over the topics from my previous speech, I plan to talk about each step I completed for my original work as well as how I came up with the idea. I hope to share details on the research that I completed, how I created my infographic, how I determined the most important details from my research, and how I decided what should be incorporated in my original work. I am looking forward to the coming weeks of ISM where I will be able to begin going on mentor visits, begin thinking about my final product, and begin creating a presentation for my original work speech.
