Weekly Report #19

In ISM this week, I completed my final product proposal and calendar, met with two people that my mentor referred me to who went to Belmont, and had my third mentor visit. For my final product, I am planning to create the life of a show. To begin my project, I will need to choose an artist whose show I will be promoting, picking a day the show will be announced, when the tickets go on sale, and the day of the show. I will need to create several social media posts, a gift or type of experience for the artist on the day of the show, and fan activities at the venue. I stated the details of the process for my project, and created a calendar to outline when I need to finish each part. A couple of weeks ago, Shelby sent me the contact information for two of her friends, Sunny and Caroline, and I zoomed with them this week. During our mentor visit, I told Shelby about our zoom calls and how both Sunny and Caroline told me about their experiences in Nashville. They both told me about how much of an advantage they had by going to Belmont, and that they both had several internships that helped them get the jobs that they have today. Next week, I am planning to begin working on my final product, and I am looking forward to my next mentor visit.
