Weekly Report #27

In ISM this week, Shelby and I had another mentor visit. She told me about how she has been very busy recently as covid restrictions have been lightened. We talked a lot about what Shelby is working on right now and it was interesting to learn about how the live part of the industry is beginning to prepare for the potential return of live music. Shelby also asked me about what the rest of the year will look like and I told her about my senior year plans and plans for next year. We talked about what opportunities I will have at Belmont and what to expect going in, and it was very fun to hear about some of Shelby’s college experiences as well. Since we are getting close to the end of the year, I am planning to finish my final product this week. I have two things left to do, and these are the fan experience and artist experience. I plan to outline these on a slide show so that I can print them out to include in my final product binder. I am also planning on finishing this by the beginning of next week so that I can start planning my final presentation speech. I am looking forward to working with Shelby to wrap up the rest of the assignments this year and prepare for final presentation night in just a few weeks.
